Within the ACLC, I am the coordinator of the research group “Linguistic Variation Constrained by Cognition, Acquisition and Social Context” (VARCAS). Colloborative research lab (Institut fuer Deutsch als Fremdsprachenphilologie & Seminar fuer Uebersetzen und Dolmetschen) in Heidelberg, Germany. I co-founded this lab together with Johannes Gerwien at the end of 2011, and I still work closely with people in the lab.
